1926 Recordati founded in Correggio, Reggio Emilia, Italy, as ‘Laboratorio Farmacologico Reggiano’ by G Recordati

1953 Recordati moves to Milan

1984 Recordati is listed on the Italian Stock Exchange

1990 A pioneer in the development and commercialisation of orphan drugs, Orphan Europe is created in Paris

2006 Orphan Europe’s Middle East affiliate is established

2007 Orphan Europe becomes part of the Recordati Group

2013 Recordati Rare Diseases is created in the USA

2013 onwards – new subsidiaries are set up in Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and Japan
